# How SetLuca keeps your accounts safe Last updated: October 21, 2026 SetLuca connects through official APIs and never asks for your password. Telegram, Instagram, and Messenger are live; WhatsApp is coming soon. ## Will SetLuca get my account flagged or banned? SetLuca connects through each platform's official API, never asks for your password, and only messages people who wrote first or opted in. It honors Meta's 24-hour messaging window and checks every reply before it goes out. Cold DMs, bought lists, and unofficial tools that log in as you are what get accounts restricted, and SetLuca does none of them. ## Connect through the platform, never around it Telegram connects through its official Bot API with a revocable bot token. Instagram connects with Instagram Login on a Business or Creator account, with no Facebook Page needed. Messenger connects through a Facebook Page. WhatsApp is coming soon. Disconnect any channel from Settings -> Channels at any time, and access ends the moment you do. ## Does every draft get checked before it sends? Before a reply reaches you or sends on its own, a separate check reads it for made-up prices or availability, tone drift, and the wrong language, and rewrites anything that fails. That runs on every channel, whether it's set to auto-send or to review. ## Can I review replies before they send? Yes. Auto-send is on by default on [every plan](/pricing). Switch any channel to review from Settings -> Channels and its replies wait for your approval before they go out; one tap switches it back. ## Sensitive messages jump to the top of the queue Six kinds of messages get flagged urgent by a pattern check, before any model reads them, and pinned to the top of your queue: - Medical red flags - Crisis language - A lead who says they are a minor - Harassment - A payment claim - A legal threat Flagging surfaces a conversation, and SetLuca may hold a flagged reply for your review even on a channel set to auto-send. Switch that channel to review if you want to read every reply before it goes out. ### Who can approve A SetLuca workspace has real team roles: owner, admin, manager, operator, analyst, and viewer. Every send in the queue names the member who approved it. ## What SetLuca never does - Message someone who didn't write first, comment, or opt in - Reply outside Meta's 24-hour messaging window on Instagram and Messenger - Buy contact lists or message people from one - Ask for your platform password; Telegram uses a bot token, and Instagram and Messenger use the platform's own sign-in - Pool your messages with another customer's data, or use them to train a shared model - Let a connected AI assistant send unless you granted it that permission; a new connection only reads and drafts ## If a platform changes the rules When a platform changes its rules, we update how SetLuca connects and sends centrally, and every account inherits the change automatically, with nothing to update on your side. Watching platform policy is our job, so it doesn't have to be yours. ## FAQ ### Will Instagram ban my account for using SetLuca? SetLuca connects through Instagram Login and Meta's official API, never asks for your password, and only replies to people who messaged you first. What gets accounts restricted is cold DMs, bought lists, and unofficial tools that log in as you. SetLuca does none of that. No tool can promise how a platform will act, so we don't. ### Does SetLuca cold-DM people or buy contact lists? Never. SetLuca only messages people who reached out to you first or opted in: a DM, a story reply, a comment on your post. No cold outreach, no scraped followers, no contact lists. On Instagram and Messenger it also never replies outside Meta's 24-hour messaging window. ### What happens the moment I connect a channel? SetLuca starts replying right away, the way you write. If you'd rather read replies before they go out, switch that channel to review from Settings -> Channels; that takes effect on the next message. ### What if a platform changes its rules? SetLuca scopes your messages to your account and uses them to answer your leads; it learns the way you write from sample replies you provide. It never pools them with another customer's data, never uses them to train a shared model, and never sells them. Delete your account and they go with it. ### Do you need my Instagram password? No. Instagram connects with Instagram Login and Messenger through a Facebook Page, so you sign in on Instagram's and Facebook's own screens and SetLuca never sees your password. Telegram uses a bot token from BotFather instead. You can disconnect any channel from Settings -> Channels at any time, and access ends the moment you do. ### Can I read replies before they send? Yes. Auto-send is on by default. Switch any channel to review from Settings -> Channels and every reply on that channel waits for you to read, edit, or approve it. It takes effect on the next message, and one tap switches it back. ### Does SetLuca ever say it's an AI? It doesn't claim to be a person, and it doesn't announce itself either.
