# How Luca keeps your accounts safe

The first question every coach asks us is 'will this get me banned?' Fair question. The straight answer: no, because Luca replies at your pace, the way you would.

## How Luca stays under every radar

Luca replies at a human pace, pauses between messages, takes breaks the way a person does, and keeps daily volume inside what a real coach would send. Platforms flag accounts that behave like machines; Luca's whole approach is to behave like you on a productive day.

## The Instagram warm-up

Every new Instagram connection starts with a warm-up of at least 7 days (longer for newer or fast-scaling accounts): you approve every single reply before it sends, and no automation runs at all. Your account's behavior stays natural while Luca learns your voice. Then you decide what, if anything, to automate.

## You approve every send

Auto-send is off by default, on [every plan](/pricing), on every channel. A reply only leaves without your tap if you explicitly turned auto-send on for that channel, and one tap turns it back off.

## Some messages jump to the top of the queue

Six kinds of messages skip straight to the top of your queue, marked urgent, before any model reads them. A pattern layer checks every inbound message against a fixed list and flags:

- Medical red flags
- Crisis language
- A lead who says they are a minor
- Harassment
- A payment claim
- A legal threat

A flagged message never sends on its own, even with auto-send on for that channel. You read it and decide what happens next.

### Who can approve

A Luca workspace has real team roles: owner, admin, manager, operator, analyst, and viewer. Every send in the queue names the member who approved it.

## What Luca never does

- Send a message to someone who didn't contact you first
- Blast the same message to many people at once
- Buy, scrape, or import contact lists
- Send faster or more often than a real person would
- Turn on auto-send without you choosing it

## If a platform changes the rules

We adjust Luca's pacing, volume, and message types the same day a platform changes its rules, and every account inherits the change automatically. Watching platform policy is our job, so it doesn't have to be yours.

## FAQ

### Will Instagram ban my account for using Luca?

No, and protecting your account is half the product. Luca replies at a human pace, takes breaks like a person, and never sends more messages than a real coach would. To Instagram, your account looks like a coach answering DMs, because that's what's happening.

### Does Luca cold-DM people or buy contact lists?

Never. Luca only replies to people who reached out to you first: a DM, a story reply, a comment on your post. No cold outreach, no scraped followers, no imported lists.

### What happens in the first 7 days on Instagram?

A warm-up. After you connect an Instagram account, you approve every single reply before it sends, with no automation at all. It lasts at least 7 days, longer for newer or fast-scaling accounts, and keeps your account's behavior natural while Luca learns your voice.

### What if a platform changes its rules?

We adjust how Luca behaves centrally (pacing, volume, message types) and every account inherits the change the same day. You don't have to follow platform policy news; that's our job.

### Who can see my DMs?

Luca scopes your messages to your account and uses them to answer your leads and learn your voice. It never pools them with another coach's data, never uses them to train a shared model, and never sells them. Delete your account and they go with it.

### Do you need my Instagram password?

No. Channels connect through each platform's official login, so Luca holds a revocable token rather than your credentials. Disconnect from your settings or from the platform itself and Luca loses access immediately.

### What happens if I turn auto-send on and then regret it?

One tap turns it back off, per channel, and it takes effect on the next message. Anything already queued still waits for your approval, so there is no window where replies keep leaving after you changed your mind.

### Does Luca ever say it's an AI?

It doesn't claim to be a person, and it doesn't announce itself either. Replies read as you because Luca drafts them from your own messages. Unless you turned auto-send on, you approved every word before it left.
