# Connect ChatGPT to Luca

## What connecting ChatGPT does

## How it works

1. **Open the connector settings.** In your assistant's settings, add Luca as a custom connector.
2. **Paste Luca's server address.** Find it on our connect page and paste it in. Sign in with your Luca account when asked.
3. **Pick what it can do.** Choose a scope on the consent screen, from read-only up to full access. Start with read and draft if you're unsure.

## What it reads and writes

- Reads: leads, conversations, the review queue, your calendar.
- Writes: drafts and follow-ups, held for your approval like every other draft.
