# SetLuca FAQ Last updated: 2026-10-24 What coaches ask before, during, and after their free trial: setup, how replies are written, channels, account safety, and the bill. ## Getting started ### What is SetLuca, in one sentence? The DM sales platform for coaches, creators, and experts: it answers your DMs the way you write, follows up, and books the call. It works on Telegram, Instagram, and Messenger, and every self-serve plan starts with 7 days free. Auto-send is on by default. Switch any channel to review and its replies wait for your approval. ### How long until it's actually replying? Telegram takes about a minute to connect, Messenger about three, Instagram about five. Paste a few of your replies and the next message that comes in gets answered. SetLuca starts with new DMs, so nothing in your old inbox changes, and you can switch any channel to review if you'd rather read each reply first. ### Does it bring in my old conversations? No. It starts with new messages. On Instagram and Messenger it reads your recent replies once to learn your style, and keeps only your side: your leads' messages are discarded. Disconnecting the channel deletes those samples, and so does deleting your account. You can also paste a few replies yourself. ### Can I keep my human setter for now? Yes. SetLuca takes the volume and the overnight replies while your setter handles the high-touch closes. Anything sensitive is pinned to the top of the queue for a person to answer, so nothing important waits behind the routine. It writes from your own replies: your openers, your emoji, the way you answer the price question. Every edit teaches it, so the next draft needs less. If you'd rather read replies first, switch that channel to review and each reply waits for you. On Instagram and Messenger it also reads your recent replies once when you connect. ### Can I read replies before they go out? Yes, per channel. Auto-send is on by default; switch any channel to review and replies wait in a one-tap queue, where you read, edit, or approve each one. The switch takes effect on the next message, so Instagram can send on its own while Telegram waits for you, and one tap switches it back. ### I write differently in Spanish than in English. Will it notice? Yes. English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese each get their own register, learned from your replies in that language rather than translated from your English. SetLuca answers in the language the lead used, and for 13 more detected languages it mirrors what the lead wrote on a best-effort basis. ### What if a lead asks something SetLuca doesn't know? It only works from the offers, prices, and answers you gave it, and a separate check blocks made-up prices or availability before anything sends. Anything sensitive, and anything it can't answer from what you gave it, is pinned to the top of your queue for you to answer yourself. ## Channels and booking ### Which channels can I connect today? Telegram, Instagram, and Messenger are live on every plan. WhatsApp is coming soon. Channel availability is the same on every plan, so no channel costs extra. Each channel keeps its own auto-send or review switch, and on Instagram SetLuca also turns comments on your posts into DM conversations. ### Does it book straight into my calendar? Yes, through Calendly, Cal.com, Google Calendar, or your own booking link. It offers real openings once a lead clears the bar you set. SetLuca asks your qualifying questions first, offers only times that are actually free, handles reschedules, and briefs you before the call so you walk in knowing the story. ### What happens to a lead who goes quiet? On every plan, SetLuca reopens the conversation with up to three check-ins, written the way you write, and stops the moment they reply. Check-ins send on Telegram today. On Instagram and Messenger they start once Meta's opt-in for marketing messages arrives. A lead who never answers is left alone, and you can end any thread yourself. ## Safety and privacy ### Is this going to get my Instagram flagged? SetLuca connects through Instagram's official API, never asks for your password, and only replies to people who wrote to you first, within Meta's messaging rules. Cold DMs and log-in-as-you tools are what get accounts restricted. SetLuca does neither, though no tool can promise how a platform will act. ### Do you need my Instagram password? No. Channels connect through each platform's official login, so SetLuca holds a revocable token, never your credentials. Instagram uses Instagram Login, Messenger a Facebook Page, and Telegram a bot token from BotFather. You can disconnect any channel from Settings and access ends the moment you do. ### Who on your side can read my DMs? You and the teammates you invite. Messages are never pooled with other customers, never used to train a shared model, and never sold. SetLuca scopes your messages to your account and uses them only to answer your leads. When you delete your account, they go with it. ### How do I get my data deleted? Disconnect a channel and its conversations go with it, or email support@setluca.com to delete the whole account. Disconnecting stops SetLuca reading and sending on that channel straight away, and removes its leads, history, writing-style samples, and stored access token. Nothing is left to chase. ## Pricing and billing ### How much does it cost? Creator $49, Starter $99, Pro $249, and Scale $499 a month, for 500 / 1,000 / 4,000 / 8,500 replies. Agency is $999 for 10 client workspaces, and Enterprise starts at $2,999. Annual billing gives you 2 months free, and every self-serve plan starts with 7 days free. ### Which plan should I choose? Pick by how many DM conversations you want SetLuca to handle each month: Creator covers about 100, Starter about 200, Pro about 800, and Scale about 1,700. Agencies running several clients should pick Agency, and large companies can talk to us about Enterprise. You can upgrade at any time. ### What counts as a reply? One message SetLuca sends for you, on any channel. Follow-ups, booking confirmations, and no-show reminders count too, and an answer split into two messages still counts once. Incoming DMs, messages your team sends, drafts you reject, and failed sends never count. ### How do extra replies and auto-add work? Extra replies are $39 for 500, ready straight away and valid for 60 days. Auto-add buys a pack when you run out, but only if an owner turns it on and sets a monthly limit.
