---# GoHighLevel Pricing: What a Coach Actually Needs

> GoHighLevel pricing starts at $97 a month for Starter, $297 for Unlimited and $497 for Agency Pro, with a 14-day free trial. AI Employee costs $50 or $97 a month on top, and texts, email and calls are billed by usage. A solo coach almost always needs Starter, and a typical month lands between about $110 and $320 all in.

## Key takeaways

- HighLevel's plans are Starter ($97), Unlimited ($297) and Agency Pro ($497) a month. Annual billing costs the price of ten months for twelve.
- The plans differ mostly in agency features: sub-accounts for client businesses, rebilling clients for usage, and SaaS (software as a service) mode for reselling HighLevel. A single coaching business rarely needs more than Starter.
- AI Employee is $50 a month (1,000 Conversation AI responses) or $97 a month (unlimited, subject to fair use), per sub-account.
- Texts, email, phone numbers and calls are pay-as-you-go. HighLevel's own help pages list two different text rates, so we show both.
- HighLevel fits coaches who want funnels (pages that walk a visitor to a sale), email, calendar and CRM (a contact database) in one place. It's more than you need if your sales happen mostly in the DMs.

GoHighLevel pricing looks simple on the pricing page and gets complicated on the bill. The subscription is one line, and then AI, texts, email and phone add usage on top. This guide prices each piece from HighLevel's own pages, checked on October 26, 2026, and models three months for a fictional coach. We make SetLuca, a DM sales platform, and we say plainly where it fits and where it doesn't.

## How much does GoHighLevel cost?

GoHighLevel costs $97 a month for Starter, $297 for Unlimited and $497 for Agency Pro, billed monthly with no long-term contract. Enterprise is custom priced through HighLevel's sales team. Every plan includes unlimited contacts and users. Usage charges for texts, email, calls and AI sit on top of every plan.

| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Sub-accounts | What it adds |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Starter | $97 | $970 | 3 | All core features |
| Unlimited | $297 | $2,970 | Unlimited | Rebill phone and email at no markup, basic API access |
| Agency Pro | $497 | $4,970 | Unlimited | SaaS mode, automated sub-account creation, rebilling with markup, advanced API access |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Dedicated success team, HIPAA, white-label app |

HighLevel's own FAQ says phone, text and AI usage charges sit outside the subscription. That line matters more than the plan price for most coaches.

## What does each GoHighLevel plan include?

Every GoHighLevel plan includes the same core tools, from funnels (step-by-step sales pages) and email to calendars and workflows (automated steps, like a reminder text). HighLevel's FAQ says the main difference between Starter and Unlimited is the number of sub-accounts, the separate workspaces an agency gives each client business. Agency Pro then adds SaaS mode, which lets an agency resell HighLevel under its own price, plus rebilling with markup. One coaching business mostly leaves those agency tools unused.

## How much do GoHighLevel's AI add-ons cost?

AI Employee costs $50 a month on the Growth plan or $97 a month on the Unlimited plan, per sub-account (HighLevel calls it a location). That's where GoHighLevel Conversation AI pricing lives. HighLevel's AI Product Pricing page, modified October 20, 2026, lists what each includes.

| AI Employee plan | Price | Conversation AI | Voice AI | Other AI |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Growth | $50/mo per sub-account | 1,000 responses a month | 100 minutes a month | Unlimited Reviews AI and Content AI |
| Unlimited | $97/mo per sub-account | Unlimited, subject to fair use | Unlimited, subject to fair use | Unlimited Reviews AI and Content AI |

Without either plan, Conversation AI runs on pay-per-use token pricing. Tokens are the small chunks of text the AI reads (input) and writes (output). For GPT-5, that's $1.25 per million input tokens and $10.00 per million output tokens. Voice AI pay-per-use starts at $0.045 a minute for the engine, plus a text-to-speech charge and the AI model's token cost. Phone system charges apply on top.

### Where do HighLevel's AI pages disagree?

The main pricing page marks Conversation AI and Voice AI as usage-based and lists no add-on price for them. The AI Product Pricing page bundles both into the $50 and $97 AI Employee plans. Both are true at once: you either pay per token or buy a monthly allowance. HighLevel's AI Product Pricing page also says, "Pricing and model availability may change." Check the in-app price before you budget. For a deeper look at how the AI behaves, see our [GoHighLevel Conversation AI review](/blog/gohighlevel-conversation-ai-review).

## What usage costs does GoHighLevel charge?

GoHighLevel's usage costs cover texts, email, phone numbers, calls and AI. HighLevel bills them from a prepaid wallet, which tops itself up when the balance drops below an amount you set (the recharge threshold). The rates below come from HighLevel's support portal for the US and Canada, and they apply on every plan.

| Item | HighLevel rate |
| --- | --- |
| Email | $0.675 per 1,000 emails |
| Email validation | $2.50 per 1,000 |
| Local phone number | $1.15 a month |
| Toll-free number | $2.15 a month |
| Text (SMS), out or in | $0.00747 per segment, plus a carrier fee |
| Carrier fee, outbound text | $0.0035 to $0.0050 per segment, by carrier |
| Outbound call | $0.0166 a minute |
| Inbound call | $0.01165 a minute |
| Text registration (A2P 10DLC), sole proprietor | $22.50 once, plus up to $2.10 a month |
| WhatsApp | $10 a month per sub-account, plus usage |

## Is GoHighLevel pricing cheaper on annual billing?

Yes. GoHighLevel annual billing costs ten months' price for twelve months on every plan. Starter is $970 a year instead of $1,164, which saves $194. That works out to about $80.83 a month, or $16.17 less than monthly billing. The discount covers the subscription only, not AI Employee or usage charges.

Unlimited is $2,970 a year instead of $3,564, a saving of $594. Agency Pro is $4,970 instead of $5,964, a saving of $994. AI Employee, texts, email and calls still bill monthly or by usage. Pay annually only after the trial shows you'll keep using it.

## How does the GoHighLevel free trial work?

HighLevel's pricing page offers a 14-day free trial on any plan, with full access to that plan's features. Billing starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel. The page adds that telecom or third-party usage fees may apply during the trial.

So a trial isn't always free. If you buy a phone number, register for texting and send reminders in week one, those usage charges hit your wallet. Treat any longer trial on a partner link as the partner's offer and read its terms.

## Which GoHighLevel plan does a solo coach need?

A solo coach needs GoHighLevel Starter. Starter covers up to three sub-accounts, and a single coaching business uses one. Unlimited and Agency Pro add features for agencies that manage many client accounts, which a coach doesn't do. A higher plan buys capacity that sits unused.

That's the short answer on GoHighLevel for coaches, though two exceptions change it. A coach running more than three separate brands, each with its own contacts and funnels, would outgrow Starter's three sub-accounts. A business coach who sells HighLevel setups to clients would want Agency Pro for SaaS mode and rebilling.

### Which add-ons does a coach actually need?

Most coaches need only one add-on, AI Employee, and only if they want AI replies. Many coaches can skip the dedicated email IP ($59 a month), the white-label app ($497) and the SEO add-on ($79 per sub-account). HighLevel lists HIPAA compliance (meeting the US health privacy law) at $297 a month, which health coaches should ask their own adviser about.

| Coach's situation | Plan | Likely add-ons |
| --- | --- | --- |
| One coaching business, no AI | Starter | None |
| One business, AI replies on SMS and DMs | Starter | AI Employee Growth or Unlimited |
| More than three brands | Unlimited | AI Employee per brand that uses it |
| Sells HighLevel setups to clients | Agency Pro | SaaS mode is included |

## A worked example: three months of GoHighLevel for one coach

Here's what GoHighLevel costs at three volumes, using Yusuf, a fictional career coach (illustrative). Yusuf runs one coaching business on Starter, billed monthly. He sends texts for call reminders, each about two segments long, and email newsletters to his list.

Each month includes his local number ($1.15) and his monthly text registration fee ($2.10). Text segments cost $0.00747, HighLevel's newer listed rate, plus a $0.005 carrier fee estimate, so $0.01247 each.

In a quiet month, Yusuf sends four newsletters to a 2,000-person list and 150 two-segment reminders, with no AI. In a steady month, his list is 5,000, he sends eight emails and 1,000 text segments, and he adds AI Employee Growth at $50 for about 960 AI responses. In a launch month, his list is 10,000, he sends twelve emails and 3,000 segments, and 2,400 AI responses push him to AI Employee Unlimited at $97.

| | Month A | Month B | Month C |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Starter plan | $97.00 | $97.00 | $97.00 |
| Email | $5.40 | $27.00 | $81.00 |
| Texts | $3.74 | $12.47 | $37.41 |
| Number and text registration | $3.25 | $3.25 | $3.25 |
| AI Employee | $0 | $50.00 | $97.00 |
| **Total** | **$109.39** | **$189.72** | **$315.66** |

His first month also carries the $22.50 one-time text registration. On annual billing, Starter drops to about $80.83 a month, so each total falls by $16.17.

## Should you buy GoHighLevel, build a stack or hire help?

Buy HighLevel if you want one login for funnels, email, calendar and CRM. Build a smaller stack, meaning a few separate tools, if most of your sales happen in DMs and you already like your tools. Hire when your sale depends on judgment more than speed.

| Path | What you pay | Fits when | Watch for |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Buy: GoHighLevel | $97 a month plus usage and AI | You want everything in one place | Setup time, usage creep in launches |
| Build: separate tools | Each tool's own plan | DMs drive sales and you like your current tools | More logins, contacts in several places |
| Hire: a setter | A wage, often plus commission | Sales need a person's judgment | Training time, set working hours |
| Hire: an agency running HighLevel | The agency's quote | You have no time to configure anything | Markup on usage, who owns the account |

### What does a human setter cost?

A human setter costs a wage, and often commission, so this path sits in a different price range from software. No government wage survey tracks appointment setters as their own job, so we don't quote a figure here. Our guide on [how much an appointment setter costs](/blog/how-much-does-an-appointment-setter-cost) adds commission, training and turnover. If you're weighing a person against software, [should you hire an appointment setter](/blog/should-i-hire-an-appointment-setter) covers the hiring side. If the role itself is new to you, start with [what an appointment setter is](/blog/what-is-an-appointment-setter).

## Where does GoHighLevel genuinely fit a coach better?

GoHighLevel fits a coach who wants funnels, email, calendar, CRM, courses and payments in one place. If you're paying for four or five separate tools today, one $97 subscription plus usage can cost less. The fit is strongest when one login matters more to you than the best tool for each job.

It also fits coaches whose leads arrive through forms, landing pages and email, not mainly through DMs. HighLevel's workflows can send the reminder text, tag the contact and move them along a pipeline (your list of open leads and where each one stands) without a second tool. Conversation AI can reply on SMS, email, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and website chat, according to HighLevel's setup guide. It can also book appointments when booking is turned on.

### Is HighLevel's own AI the cheaper choice?

On AI cost alone, HighLevel is hard to beat if you already run it. AI Employee Unlimited at $97 a month is unlimited, subject to fair use, on top of a $97 plan. If HighLevel already runs your business, adding its own AI is usually the simplest choice. Our guide to the [GoHighLevel AI appointment setter](/blog/gohighlevel-ai-appointment-setter) compares the options inside HighLevel. For the wider picture of what to automate first, see [how to automate your coaching business](/blog/how-to-automate-your-coaching-business).

## Where does SetLuca fit?

SetLuca fits coaches whose sales start in Telegram, Instagram or Messenger DMs and end on a booked call. It isn't a funnel builder (a tool for sales pages), email tool or CRM, and it doesn't connect to GoHighLevel. It does one job: answering people who wrote first and booking the call.

SetLuca replies within minutes at any hour, paced like a person, using a sales framework you choose. It writes the way you write and books on Calendly, Cal.com, Google Calendar or your booking link. Auto-send is on by default, and you can switch any channel to review. HighLevel's setup guide doesn't list Telegram as a Conversation AI channel; SetLuca covers it. If you're still deciding which apps deserve your time, our [multi-channel DM playbook](/blog/multi-channel-dm-playbook) covers the channel mix for coaches.

### What does SetLuca cost, and where does it fall short?

Plans are $49 to $999 a month for 500 to 17,000 replies, with a 7-day free trial. One honest limit: a great human setter still reads hard, emotional conversations better. SetLuca books the call, and you close it. Our [best AI appointment setter software](/blog/best-ai-appointment-setter-software) roundup compares the options.

## Is GoHighLevel worth it for a coach?

GoHighLevel is worth it for a coach who will use most of its core tools. If you'd otherwise pay for a funnel builder, email platform, scheduler and CRM, Starter at $97 plus usage often costs less. If your sales happen mostly in DMs, you may be paying for tools you never open.

Decide with three questions. How many of HighLevel's core tools would you use in the first month? Where do your leads arrive: forms and email, or DMs? And will you set it up yourself, or pay someone? The answers point to buy, build or hire. Our guide to [lead nurture for coaches](/blog/lead-nurture-for-coaches) helps with the second question, and [AI setter vs human setter](/blog/ai-setter-vs-human-setter) helps with the third.

GoHighLevel pricing rewards coaches who use the whole platform. Start with Starter, run the 14-day trial on your real offer, and price your busiest month before you commit.

## FAQ

### How much is GoHighLevel per month?

GoHighLevel costs $97 a month for Starter, $297 for Unlimited and $497 for Agency Pro. Enterprise is custom priced. On top of the plan, texts, email, phone numbers, calls and AI are billed by usage or as add-ons. So most coaches pay somewhat more than the plan price each month.

### Does GoHighLevel have a free trial?

Yes. HighLevel's pricing page offers a 14-day free trial on any plan, with full access to that plan's features. Billing starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel. Telecom and third-party usage fees may still apply during the trial, so a trial with texting isn't entirely free.

### How much does GoHighLevel Conversation AI cost?

Conversation AI comes with AI Employee Growth at $50 a month for 1,000 responses, or AI Employee Unlimited at $97 for unlimited use, subject to fair use. Both are per sub-account. Without a plan, it bills by tokens, for example $1.25 and $10.00 per million input and output tokens on GPT-5.

### Which GoHighLevel plan is best for coaches?

Starter is best for most coaches. It includes all core features and up to three sub-accounts, and a single coaching business uses one. Unlimited suits coaches running more than three brands. Agency Pro suits business coaches who resell HighLevel setups to their own clients through SaaS mode.

### Does SetLuca integrate with GoHighLevel?

No. SetLuca has no GoHighLevel integration. SetLuca answers DMs on Telegram, Instagram and Messenger and books calls on Calendly, Cal.com, Google Calendar or a booking link. If HighLevel already runs your funnels, email and calendar, its own AI Employee may be the simpler choice for replies.
